New camera!

Sun May 7, 2006, 9:34 PM
I am extremely excited. I bought a 35mm camera today off of eBay. It's a Minolta X-700, with two lenses, a flash, an auto-winder, an extension tube, a 2x teleconverter, filters, caps, a photolens, and a few other things.

I am so excessively happy about it, really.

I'd suggest an olympus OM-10, look for a working light meeter and make sure the batterys aren't mercury. Om-10's took mercury batteries that they don't make anymore, so they have to be modded, which costs a bit, but is worth it. If not that then pick up a Nikon F anything, just an old nikon or olympus, manual, beautiful. The nikon N series are a great new series, I have an N-60, the N-80 is tight, but they are all good.

Thank you so much for your comment. I had not posted in a while and was a bit scared and you made me feel better and inspired me to write more. :worship:

I really enjoyed your poem and would look forward to more poetry from you. You are a talented writer!

Be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. In the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
